Destinations
From Pipa, at the southern tip of the state, to Galinhos, a car-free village on the northern coast — six bases, all within a short drive of one another, each opening onto a different landscape.
Four flagships
Natal is the air gateway and food capital. Pipa is the international beach village to the south. Gostoso and Galinhos are the wind-sport hubs on the northern coast. Start with one of these four — the other twenty open up afterwards.

Mossoró
RN's second-largest city, stage of the 1927 defeat of Lampião and the Auto da Liberdade pageant. Cidade Junina in June, Estação das Artes year-round.
Caicó
Capital of the Seridó. Festa de Sant'Ana (July) is among Brazil's largest Catholic festivals; embroidery, queijo de coalho and sun-dried beef.
Currais Novos
Seridó municipality home to Mina Brejuí, a former scheelite mine turned into an open-air museum memorial.
Acari
Colonial Seridó town with 19th-century streetscape, butter cheese and pottery traditions.
Carnaúba dos Dantas
Geosite of the UNESCO Seridó Geopark. Prehistoric rock inscriptions and granite formations.
Parelhas
Ceramics hub of the Seridó. Boqueirão reservoir and the millennial red-clay tradition.
Santa Cruz
Santuário de Santa Rita de Cássia with one of the world's tallest Catholic statues: 56 m in total height, 42 m for the body alone. Faith Route anchor.
Areia Branca
Costa Branca city with salt pans, lighthouse and the October KiteFest BR. Gateway to the western RN coast.
Macau
Old salt-mining town on the Costa Branca. Pink salt pans, Bom Jesus dos Navegantes festival and gateway to the RDS Ponta do Tubarão reserve.
Porto do Mangue
Costa Branca municipality home to the Dunas do Rosado — one of the Northeast's largest mobile dune fields, with the iron-oxide tones that give it the name.
Tibau
RN's westernmost beach, on the Ceará border. Coloured cliffs and calm sea.
Apodi
Western RN municipality home to the Lajedo de Soledade, a Cretaceous limestone outcrop with Pleistocene megafauna fossils.
Martins
Western highlands at 750 m altitude. Mild climate, Casa de Pedra cave and viewpoints over the sertão.
Pico do Cabugi
Extinct volcanic neck rising 590 m near Lajes/Angicos. The only accessible volcanic relic in NE Brazil.
Tibau do Sul
South-coast municipality that contains Pipa, Madeiro, Curral and Cacimbinhas. Lagoa de Guaraíras at sunset.
Baía Formosa
South-coast fishing village home to RPPN Mata Estrela and the Lagoa Coca-Cola (tannic, tea-coloured water).
Touros
Northern-coast municipality home to the Farol do Calcanhar lighthouse and the Marco Zero of BR-101. Easternmost point of the continental Americas.
Barra do Cunhaú
Cunhaú river mouth in Canguaretama. Largest kite-school cluster on the south coast and a double playground of flat water + ocean wave.
