Parrachos de Maracajaú

A unique offshore setup: 7 km from the beach, on top of the coral reef belt known as the Parrachos. At low tide the reef sits half a metre under the surface and creates kilometres of flat water in the middle of the open ocean. Access is by catamaran shuttle from Maracajaú beach. Strictly advanced — you need to read the wind window, the tide and your own endurance carefully, because the boats stop running at 4 pm.
