Perobas (Touros)

2 km off the Perobas village beach in Touros, a coral belt creates a shallow turquoise lagoon at low tide. Catamaran shuttles from Perobas (separate from the Maracajaú operation) drop kiters on the reef edge for clean flat-water foil and freestyle sessions. The trade wind blows side-on across the reef and the water depth tops out at half a metre over the coral. This is a sister spot to Maracajaú — not the same reef.
