Tibau do Sul → Praia do Madeiro (Pipa)

The southern coast doesn't have the salt-pan flat-water geography of the north, but the same southeast trade wind blows here from August to January, peaking September to December. On a clean trade day you'll sail a 10 km side-on / side-off section from Tibau do Sul, past Baía dos Golfinhos, into Praia do Madeiro and Pipa. The view is unbeatable: pink cliffs up to 30 m tall, dolphins in the shallow bays, the long arc of Madeiro. Unlike the north, there is no downwind-chain culture here — it's more of a spot + short adventure leg than a chained safari. The cliffs on the Tibau side are tall and create wind-shadow zones; launch at least 200 m off the cliff line, and pick mid-to-high tide for the Tibau-to-bay section. A buggy from Pipa to Tibau takes about 25 minutes.
