Praia do Farol (São Bento do Norte)

A century-old lighthouse on a dune cliff marks the half-way point of the classic Gostoso → Galinhos downwind. The village is tiny, with a single pousada strip, but the cliff provides a clean side-on launch in 22–28 kt and the beach is one of the few with 4×4 land access on the otherwise roadless 50 km stretch. Locals ride it as a stand-alone day spot; downwinders use it as the natural bail-out if the wind drops mid-leg.
